The links below are resources you can use to help you in your trip preparations. We hope you find them useful.
Gear List: A link that will give you a suggested list of things that you might need to bring on a fishing adventure. A final
list will be created with our help once you choose an adventure and we have a full weather report.
Alaska Fishing License: This link will take you to the Alaska Department of
Fish and Game website where you can purchase a fishing license on line. Warning! Make sure that you are able to print a copy off when you purchase the license because once you purchase your
license you cannot go back and look at it again.
Weather Report: This link will take you to the National
Weather Service Alaska Region Headquarters. You will need to click on the Southwest Alaska Public Zone Forecast and then scroll down to the Bristol Bay forecast. That way you’ll be better
prepared and won’t pack unnecessary gear.
Fishing Report: This link will take you to the Alaska
Department of Fish and Game sport fishing report for the Bristol Bay area. This will allow you the opportunity to look at some of the past salmon returns and follow the salmon runs on the
Nushagak River and the entire Bristol Bay area.
